1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using JSON Guardian ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

JSON Guardian provides an API for validating, repairing, and enforcing JSON schemas. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available.".

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
  • Share API keys or allow unauthorized access
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
  • Use the Service to process illegal or harmful content
  • Attempt to overload or disrupt our infrastructure

5. Rate Limits & Fair Use

Free Tier: 10,000 requests/month

Starter: 100,000 requests/month

Pro: 1,000,000 requests/month

Exceeding your plan's limits may result in throttled requests (HTTP 429). Persistent abuse may result in account suspension.

6. Payment Terms

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance
  • All fees are non-refundable except as noted in our refund policy
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

7. Refund Policy

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: Request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment, no questions asked. Email support@jsonguardian.com.

8. Service Level Agreement

For paid plans:

  • Uptime Target: 99.9% monthly availability
  • Response Time: Sub-10ms average latency
  • Support: Email response within 24-48 hours

Service credits may be available for significant outages affecting paid customers.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
